1. Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how the CVONG iOS application ("CVONG", "the app", "we", "us") handles your data. CVONG is an iOS application designed to help users create, edit, and export curriculum vitae (CVs) in PDF format.

2. No Account Required

CVONG does not require you to create an account, register, or sign in. The app does not utilize a backend account system, and we do not maintain user databases or profiles on our servers.

3. Information You Enter

To compile and render your CV, you may voluntarily enter personal information into the application, including:

• Full name
• Email address, phone number, and physical address
• CV content (work experience, education, skills, languages, summary)
• An optional profile photograph

This information is used solely to generate your CV inside the app and to export PDF documents. Entering this information is optional and entirely under your control.

4. Where Your Data is Stored

Your CV data is stored locally on your device. The app does not transmit your CV information, personal details, or photos to our servers.

CVONG does not include third-party tracking or analytics SDKs. If analytics or backend services are introduced in the future, this policy will be updated prior to deployment and the "Last updated" date will reflect the change.

5. Photo Library Access

CVONG requests photo library permission only when you choose to attach a portrait photo to your CV. The photo is stored locally on your device within the app and is never uploaded to our servers. You may revoke this permission at any time in iOS Settings without affecting the rest of the app.

6. In-App Purchases & StoreKit

CVONG offers an optional one-time in-app purchase ("CVONG Pro Lifetime"). All purchase transactions are conducted through Apple App Store and StoreKit. CVONG never sees, processes, or stores your credit card or billing details.

7. PDF Export and Sharing

When you export a CV, the PDF is generated locally on your device. Any subsequent sharing via AirDrop, Mail, Messages, or cloud storage is initiated and handled directly by you through standard iOS share features.

8. Backup and Restore Files

CVONG allows you to create a local JSON backup of your CV data and restore it later. Backup files are created and saved at your discretion. You are responsible for where you store these files (such as Apple Files or iCloud Drive) and for keeping them secure.

9. Data Deletion

Because all data resides on your device, you have full control over its removal:

• In-App Reset: You can clear all entered CV data at any time via Settings → Reset CV Data.
• App Deletion: Removing the CVONG app from your device automatically deletes all local app data and sandboxed documents.
• Exported Backups: Any backup files you exported to Files or cloud storage must be deleted manually by you from those locations.

10. Children's Privacy

CVONG is a general document utility and is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal data from children.

11. This Website

This website (cvong.ongboy.com) does not set tracking cookies or use marketing analytics. Standard hosting logs (such as IP addresses and browser user agents) are processed solely for network security and service delivery.

12. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
